Alizeh Arif from BSc IV represents Pakistan at the World Bank Group sponsored conference, South Asian Economics Students' Meet (SAESM) in Chittagong, Bangladesh
Alizeh Arif from BSc IV was selected from Lahore School of Economics to represent Pakistan at the World Bank Group sponsored conference, South Asian Economics Students' Meet (SAESM) that was held in Chittagong, Bangladesh, earlier this year. Here, she presented her paper titled, "The Nexus between Defense Spending and Capital Accumulation, with a Special Emphasis on South Asia," to chief economists from the World Bank and policymakers from the South Asian region. Furthermore, debates and panel discussions ensued on the Sustainable Development Goals and her paper emerged as one of the best in the category of SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure."
