LSES Orientation 2016

On 18 October 2016, Lahore School Economics Society (LSES) held its third annual orientation to familiarize students with its work achievements, and the benefits of being a part of it.

The orientation was hosted by LSES Vice Presidents Haris Salman and Sumiya Zaka. Dr. Azam Chaudhry, Professor & Dean, Ms. Shamyla Chaudhry, Ms. Misha Saleem and a large number of students participated in the orientation. The main topics of discussion were the upcoming elections to choose the new student officers, previous achievements of the society which included sending teams to international conferences and competitions including the South Asian Economic Students' Meet, the structure of the society, the intra-Lahore School competition held last year- Econothon-and the upcoming annual economics conference (Management of the Pakistan Economy).

Dr. Azam Chaudhry spoke on the benefits of choosing Economics as a major and being a part of the economics student community present at the Lahore School, along with the future prospects of having a degree in Economics.
