Dr. Shahid Amjad Chaudhry
Professor & Rector, Lahore School of Economics
Dr. Chaudhry is the Rector of Lahore School of Economics and also Professor of Economics. He was Lecturer in Economics at Punjab University from 1967 to 1969. He served in the Civil Service of Pakistan from 1969 to 1983. From 1983 to 1985, he was a Visiting Professor of Economics at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Since 1985, he has been working on Public Sector Management Issues and is a member of a number of National Commissions on the subject. He was the Deputy Chairman of the Pakistan Planning Commission from July 2000 to July 2003 and Advisor Finance in the Care-taker Government during April-June 2013.
