Anam is the Focal Point for the Lahore School of Economics Annual Conference that is organized by CREB every year. She is also the editor of the CREB Research News, which provides the scope and depth of research being carried out at CREB and manages the CREB website in order to convey the most recent and relevant information about the centre and its activities. Previously she has worked as a Research Associate on an Open Society Institute funded study titled Determinants of School Choice - Evidence from Punjab, Pakistan which was completed in 2012 and South Asian Network of Economic Institutes (SANEI) funded study that empirically investigated the effects of the global financial crisis on remittance growth and national income in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan which was completed in 2011.
